Compensation: $25 hour
Shift: Must be able to work at least two shifts times (morning, evening, and nights). Must be able to work at least 32 hours per week.
- Mornings: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (weekdays and weekends)
- Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (weekdays and weekends)
- Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (weekdays and weekends)
Summary:
We’re seeking a Security Flex Guard who is ready to cover shifts at multiple client sites on short notice. You’ll fill in for absent Guards and provide additional support during peak times or special events, ensuring seamless security coverage wherever you’re needed. Great fits are Guards who are looking to make the most money and do not need a set schedule.
About the job:
- Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
- Be prepared to report to various client sites with minimal notice to cover shifts or provide additional security support.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate shifts that may vary daily, including last-minute assignments. This includes weekends and holidays.
- Maintain communication with the manager in order to receive work and respond within 20 minutes.
- Train across all sites which include access control, foot and vehicle patrol, CCTV monitoring, and responding to emergency calls.
- Observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
- Ability to work effortlessly in fast paced warehouse environment.
- Observe and have ability to check appointments and confirm vehicle entry for inbound and outbound trucks.
- Ability to work in ALL elements of weather.
- Basic computer skills and data entry required.
Your Background:
- You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
- You are able to work at least two shifts times (morning, evening, and nights).
- You have completed a Security Guard Training Course (Mayfair Security will help to obtain this Training during the hiring process).
- You have a CPR certification (Mayfair Security will help to obtain this Certificate during the hiring process).
- You have reliable transportation.
- You must successfully complete a Police Vulnerable Check.
- You are at least 21 years of age for driving positions.
- You have a valid driver’s license (for driving positions) with a good driving history (Recent Drivers Abstract required).

- As a Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard retail clients in a range of different environments.
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
